As is the case with many college football teams, the secondary is not currently one of Stanford’s deepest units. However, strong recruiting classes can change a depth chart in a hurry, and the Cardinal are hoping for a major infusion of talent in their defensive backfield from players like Virginia safety Ed Reynolds.
