Recruiting: The three-star signal-caller already has scholarship offers from Boston College, Illinois, Marshall, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. He is also attracting interest from Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Cincinnati, LSU, and Ole Miss. McMillian recently said Virginia is recruiting him the hardest.
Ranking: Three-star prospect; 11th- ranked quarterback in the 2014 class.
Scouting Report: McMillian is a playmaker at quarterback. Although he does not have prototypical size, the 6-foot, 195-pound signal-caller really knows how to play the position and is a great athlete. McMillian beats defenses with his arm and his feet. He has good pocket awareness and makes good decisions. The 2014 quarterback shows good accuracy and arm strength. Although some schools have talked about playing him somewhere other than quarterback, McMillian said he would prefer to continue to play the position in college. If he continues to develop, it may be hard for schools to play him anywhere else.
As a junior, McMillian threw for over 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also ran for over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns.
